Julia Keady is the Founder and CEO of Benefolk. With more than 25 years’ experience spanning consulting, media, philanthropy, social enterprise and corporate social responsibility, Julia has dedicated her career to strengthening the capability, leadership and wellbeing of those who lead purpose-driven organisations.
Julia is nationally recognised for her expertise in social sector strategy, governance and sector collaboration. She has advised hundreds of organisations on how to build sustainable operating models, navigate financial stress, and lead confidently through periods of change.
As Client Lead for Benefolk AI, Julia works with organisations to identify where AI can strengthen operations, improve decision-making and free up resources for greater impact, ensuring solutions align with mission, governance and organisational capacity.
Under Julia’s leadership, Benefolk has supported more than 900 organisations through change, challenge and transformation. Her approach combines strategic rigour with deep empathy, ensuring that innovation strengthens not only organisational performance but also the wellbeing and resilience of leadership teams.
