The pillars are depicted in a cycle. Ideally, organisations prevent workplace harm, and follow the cycle clockwise. Sometimes organisations are alerted to the need for improved mental health when a crisis occurs. In which case, they might start at crisis, then recovery, and then go back to the prevent, protect, educate and enhance toolboxes to be better prepared for future challenges.
