Benefolk Basecamp opens in South Melbourne

A good place to work gives you more than a desk. It puts you among people who share your sense of purpose.

Benefolk is delighted to be part of a growing for-purpose precinct in South Melbourne, in a building owned by the The Adidem Group and alongside other purpose-driven businesses supported by Graeme Wise.

Graeme, pictured above with our CEO and Founder Julia Keady and Director Darren Taylor (GAICD), brought The Body Shop to Australia in 1983. Through the Adidem Group and the Wise Foundation, he has long championed the idea that business can create economic opportunity and positive social change.

That belief resonates with us. At 'T' Street, we have the chance to connect, learn and collaborate with others working to make a difference.

And there’s another very good reason to visit: the fabulous onsite social enterprise café, with great food and the best coffee in South Melbourne. Drop in for brunch or lunch, or get in touch with the café for your next catering order.

We’re looking forward to seeing what grows from being here together. Some of our colleagues have already popped in, like Janis McKenna MBA GAICD and Leanne Hart. If you’d like to visit Benefolk too, please get in touch. We’d love to welcome you.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land and waters and their knowledge of the places where we gather to collaborate and strengthen communities. In our work, we recognise the importance of Country, not just as a place, but how it also maintains community, family, kin, lore and language. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
